JC Stewart was surrounded by music from an early age, but only picked up a guitar for the first time when he was 12 years old. He quickly began to write his own songs. With his soulful pop melodies he has achieved popularity both in Northern Ireland and elsewhere, from a popular YouTube channel. He began to work with US Producer Tre Sheppard and released his first single 'Free' in 2015. Following this release, he was featured on The Unsigned Guide's 'One to Watch' blog. Stewart's second single 'Parachute' was released in 2016 and was streamed over a million times online. In 2018, Stewart released 'Medicine', which highlighted his smooth voice and gentle tone and has been streamed over three million times. Also in 2018, the singles 'Promised Land', 'Like I Did' and a cover of Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun' were released. In 2019, Stewart released the track 'Inside' which had a more dance music feel to it, followed by 'Have You Had Enough Wine' which returns to the soulful singing of his previous tracks.
