John Park

John Andrew Park, born September 13, 1988 in Chicago, is a Korean-American singer renowned for his soulful voice and versatile artistry. He first gained widespread recognition as a semi-finalist on the ninth season of American Idol, impressing the judges with his rendition of "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know." Although he was eliminated during the Top 20 round, Park's talent remained evident, and he soon found a new platform on the Korean music show Superstar K2, where he emerged as the runner-up. Following his success on Superstar K2, Park signed with Music Farm Entertainment, debuting with the EP Knock in 2012, which climbed to number three on Korean charts and solidified his position in the Korean music industry. His first full-length album, Inner Child (2013), was equally well-received, peaking at number one in South Korea. Park’s discography reflects his growth, featuring singles like "Falling" (2012) and "Thought of You" (2016). His songs have also appeared on popular OSTs for Korean dramas, including Vincenzo and Forecasting Love and Weather. In October 2024, he released PSST!, a new album that explores nuanced emotional landscapes.
