Jon Pardi is an American singer-songwriter known for his neo-traditional brand of country music. He was born on May 20, 1985, in Dixon, California, and began writing songs at the age of 12. He later moved to Nashville and released his debut single "Missin' You Crazy" in 2012, followed by his first Top 10 hit, "Up All Night," in 2013. Both songs were included on Pardi's gold-certified debut album Write You a Song, which was released in 2014 and reached Number 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. California Sunrise followed in 2016, topping the country chart and producing back-to-back Number 1 singles with "Head Over Boots" and "Dirt On My Boots." 'A third single, "Heartache On the Dancefloor," topped the Canadian country chart in 2017. Two years later, Jon Pardi returned to Number 1 in both countries with "Heartache Medication," the title track from his third studio album. "Ain't Always the Cowboy" and "Tequila Little Time" both enjoyed success on both sides of the American/Canadian border, with Heartache Medication received a nomination for "Album of the Year" and the 2020 CMA Awards. Two years later, he released "Last Night Lonely," which became his fourth Number 1 hit in America and his fifth in Canada. The song served as the lead single for Mr. Saturday Night, Pardi's fourth studio album, which debuted at Number 5 on the US Top Country Albums chart upon its release in September 2022.
