The daughter of late comedienne Lydia Sum Tin-ha and singer Adam Cheng Siu-chow, C-pop singer, actress and writer Joyce Cheng has been in the public eye since 2005 when she performed the role of Snow White in the Hong Kong Disneyland opening ceremony. Born in Vancouver – where she spent the majority of her childhood – on May 30, 1987, Cheng moved back to Hong Kong permanently in 2006 and made her musical debut that same year with the video, 靠自己, "Kaau Zi Gei" . She went on to make her mark as a Cantopop and Mandopop singer across a variety of areas, including opera and television, and released her debut album 故事的配角 in January 2011, which featured the song “Make Me Cry”. 2013 saw the release of The Voice of Love and in 2016, Joyce was unveiled. The “Fake a Smile” single dropped in 2017 and in 2020 new single “小夜燈” arrived.
