The girl group Juice=Juice was launched in 2013 in Fukuoka, Japan. All six of the group's original members — Akari Uemura, Sayuki Takagi, Karin Miyamoto, Aina Ōtsuka, Tomoko Kanazawa, and Yuka Miyazaki — were part of the J-pop collective Hello! Project. "Romance no Tochū," the group's debut single, was released in September 2013 and debuted at Number 2 on the Oricon Singles Chart, with the follow-up single "Ijiwaru Shinaide Dakishimete yo" also reaching Number 2 in December of that year. "Hadaka no Hadaka no Hadaka no Kiss," "Black Butterfly," and "Senobi" all hit Top 5 in 2014, with "Wonderful World" climbing to Number 1 in 2015. All six singles later appeared on First Squeeze!, Juice=Juice's debut album. Released in July 2015, First Squeeze! hit Number 5 in Japan and was followed by #2 ¡Una mas!, which peaked at Number 4 in 2018. #2 ¡Una mas! featured four singles that hit Number 3, including "Jidanda Dance." Starting in 2019, Juice=Juice began releasing material from an untitled third album, with "Bitansan" and "Hitori de Ikiraresō" both returning the group to Number 3. The record itself finally arrived in 2022 under the title Terzo and debuted at Number 1, marking Juice=Juice's first time hitting Number 1 on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart.
