Jukjae, born Jung Jae-won on January 26, 1989, is a South Korean singer-songwriter known for his rich folk and indie sound, marked by contemplative blues and ballads. A multi-talented artist under ABYSS Company, he made his solo debut on November 10, 2014, with the album 한마디 (One Word). Since then, Jukjae has crafted a unique presence in the Korean music industry, blending tender storytelling with soulful instrumentals. His discography includes full-length albums like The Lights (2022) and Cliché (2024), along with several EPs and popular singles such as “사랑한대” (2015), “Night Poem” (2020), and “Midnight Call” (2024). Collaborating with artists like Sam Kim and Kwon Jin Ah, Jukjae's music often resonates with a sense of warmth and introspection. His work in television dramas, contributing memorable OSTs for series like Jirisan and 18 Again, has broadened his appeal, embedding his music into the emotional landscape of Korean media.
