Jeon Jung-kook (September 1, 1997), or simply Jungkook, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and model, mostly known for being a member of the immensely popular K-Pop boy band BTS. Apart from his work as a singer, he has also produced a handful of songs for the group and made appearances in several reality shows such as Flower Crew, Celebrity Bromance, and King of Mask Singer. Born in Busan, Jungkook started performing inspired by South Korean rapper G-Dragon and American pop mainstays Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and Usher before relocating to Seoul to become a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment. Following a trip to Los Angeles to further refine his dance skills in 2012, he was selected to take part in Big Hit’s latest boy band project, BTS. The group made their debut in 2013 with the EP 2 Cool 4 Skool and skyrocketed to global success with the blockbuster albums Wings (2016), Love Yourself: Tear (2018), Map of the Soul: 7 (2020) and Be (2020), all of which topped the charts in their native South Korea. In 2020, Jungkook finally made his highly-anticipated debut as a solo artist with the self-produced track “Still With You.” Golden, his studio debut, hit the shelves in 2023 and featured the popular singles "Seven" with Latto and "3D" with Jack Harlow, which hit number 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and cracked the Top 5 of the K-pop Top 200 in South Korea.
