A J-pop singer and versatile actor, Keisuke Ueda was born on September 5, 1989, in Osaka, Japan. He began appearing in various stage plays in 2007 and starred in his first television show, Unubore Deka, in 2011. He continued to be known primarily as a voice actor until 2016, when he released the debut single "Nemuri-hime." Recorded for the Aquamarine label as part of the company's "Otogimmick" series, "Nemuri-hime" reached Number 123 on the Oricon Weekly Singles chart. Two years later, Keisuke Ueda earned his first Top 40 hit with the song "Start Line (Toki no Wadachi)," which charted at Number 25 in Japan and served as the ending theme to the TV show +Music. He also appeared on "Prince Night (Doko ni Ita no sa!? My Princess)," a collaborative song that also featured fellow singer/actors Yūya Asato, Yūto Adachi, Daisuke Hirose, and Shouta Aoi. The song reached Number 19 on the Oricon chart. After years of soundtrack appearances and one-off singles, Keisuke Ueda released his debut album, Voice Of…, in 2019. The record was a success, reaching Number 25 in Japan and selling more than 2,000 copies in its first week of availability. RE, his second album, followed in March 2023, featuring tracks like "Gene" and "AWAKE AND EVOKE."
