Kera Kera

Kerakera is a Japanese music trio consisting of vocalist MEME , bassist Furuppe , and drummer Mori-san . The group originated from Tokyo's Chofu City and Osaka Prefecture's Izumi City. Furuppe and Mori-san were previously members of the punk band "HUNGRY DAYS," which won the national championship at the YAMAHA-sponsored TEENS' MUSIC FESTIVAL in 2003 and debuted with Toshiba EMI in 2004. In February 2010, Furuppe and Mori-san posted a member recruitment notice on the SNS site "mixi." They auditioned over 50 candidates before meeting MEME, who was taking vocal lessons at the time. Impressed by her bright personality and clear voice, they decided to form Kerakera. They officially debuted as Kerakera in February 2011 after uploading their song "Tomodachi no Furi" to online video platform, which garnered over 1.3 million views despite having no CD distribution or official promotions. Their notable releases are "Star Love Ration"(2013), "Sayonara Daisukidattayo" (2013), and Kerakelife (2013).
