Born on October 24, 1968 in East Chicago, Indiana, Kim Sanders is a eurodance singer/songwriter who relocated to Germany to focus on her music career. She’s best known for her year-long stint in the late 1990s fronting Culture Beat as well as being a member of Flame and Captain Hollywood Project. Her first single was 1991’s “Full Time”, followed by two singles in 1993: “Show Me” and “Tell Me That You Want Me”. That same year, she provided lead vocals on Captain Hollywood’s Project’s single “Impossible” and Flame’s single “Next Time (I Promise)”. More solo singles followed including “Tell Me That You Want Me” and “Jealousy”. She joined eurodance outfit Culture Beat and provided vocals for their 1997 album Metamorphosis before continuing with her solo career. In 2003, she released her solo debut album, Pretty on Edge. Because of a mistake by the record company, the album was issued with an incorrect UPC and it failed to chart. She continued to collaborate with other artists including Schiller, Wolfgang Haffner, Aural Float, and many others. Her next solo album, A Closer Look, was released in 2009. In December 2011, she was a contestant on the German televised talent show The Voice of Germany. She became one of the four finalists and ultimately lost, coming in as second runner-up.
