King Gnu

Japanese rock band formed in 2013 initially under the names Mrs. Vinci and then Srv. Vinci, King Gnu consists of Daiki Tsuneta (vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter), Satoru Iguchi (vocalist and keyboardist), Arai Kazuki (bassist), and Seki YĆ» (drummer). Following their first album as Srv. Vinci titled Mad Me More Softly, released in 2015, the group rebranded as King Gnu. They swiftly released the EP Tokyo Chaotic in 2016 and the album Tokyo Rendez-Vous in 2017, which charted at number 46 on the Japanese charts. In 2019, their album Sympa marked a significant commercial leap for the group, securing their first Top 5 spot and reaching number 4. However, this achievement paled in comparison to the success attained by Ceremony, the band's third album, which granted them their first number 1 position in 2020 and was awarded 2 x Platinum. In November 29, 2023, the band returned with The Greatest Unknown, preceded by a string of Number 1 singles including "Ichizu"(2021), "Sakayume"(2021), and "Chameleon"(2022). From their live video, they released a live album King Gnu Dome Tour THE GREATEST UNKNOWN at TOKYO DOME in 2024.
