Le Flow Du Sud

Real name Fortune Kakassa Kakassa, the Gabonese rapper, singer and songwriter known by the pseudonym Le Flow du Sud was born on January 11, 1992 in Malinga, a small town in the Louétsi-Bibaka department of the Ngounié province. At the age of ten, he moved to Franceville to continue his secondary education. As a teenager, he developed a passion for rap, writing his first texts and freestyles, inspired by the likes of Koba Building, Youssoupha and La Fouine. From 2017 onwards, with the release of the single "Le Couple de l'année" (The Couple of the Year), he went from strength to strength, with tracks such as "Austérité" in 2019, "Maillot " in 2020, and "Tout beau tout nouveau " in 2021. Meanwhile, Le Flow du Sud released the mixtapes Bomayé (2018) and Succès (2019), but above all his first opus, Atlas , in 2020, featuring 13 tracks, including three in collaboration with artists such as Garcin Lagacant, Marco San, Seyze and Drakster. Thanks to this album, by the end of 2020 he had become the most listened-to Gabonese artist of the year on all streaming platforms.
