LE SSERAFIM

Five-member South Korean girl group Le Sserafim was formed by Source Music and Hybe Corporation in 2022 and originally comprised Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Kim Ga-ram, and Hong Eun-chae. The group launched their career in May 2022 with debut EP Fearless—collaborating with singers Kazuha, Huh Yun Jin, Kim Ga-Ram, and Hong Eun Chae. The EP broke the weekly sales record for a debut album by a girl group on Hanteo—selling 300,000 copies in its first week—and shot to number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. That same year, the group bagged their first music show win on SBS MTV's The Show. Kim Ga-Ram quit Le Sserafim following the release of Fearless and the group's sophomore EP, Antifragile, followed in October 2022. They took things up a notch in 2023 via a profile-boosting collaboration with Nile Rodgers on the title track for their debut album Unforgiven, which also featured tracks from Fearless and Antifragile and landed the group a Korean number one. They have picked up several accolades, Best Musician Award and Rookie of the Year (2022) at the Asia Artist Awards and Rookie of the Year at the Seoul Music Awards 2023 with Unforgiven winning the Best Album Bonsang at the 38th Golden Disc Awards. In February 2024, the group released their third EP Easy, driven by the lead single of the same name and a music video directed by Nina McNeely. In April 2024, the group shared the stage with Nile Rodgers at Coachella, premiering a new song called "1-800-Hot-N-Fun." Later, on August 30, the group released their fourth extended play, titled Crazy.
