Lee Seok-hoon (February 21, 1984) is a South Korean singer who rose to prominence as one third of the vocal group SG Wannabe. Apart from his music career, he has also participated in several music reality shows such as Fantastic Duo, Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, and King of Mask Singer. Born in Pohang but raised in Incheon, Lee Seok-hoon cut his teeth performing in Hongdae’s club circuit while working as a vocal coach and background vocalist. He joined SG Wannabe in 2008 to replace Chae Dong-ha and released four albums with the group between 2008 and 2011. He made his solo debut in 2010 with the EP Greeting, which featured the Top 10 hit and karaoke staple “Ten Reasons I Love You.” Another EP titled Different Hello followed in 2012. As a Man Rather Than a Friend, Lee Seok-hoon’s first full-length, saw the light in 2013 via Jellyfish Entertainment and climbed to Number 16 on the Gaon Albums Chart propelled by the success of its title track. After enlisting to serve in the military, Lee Seok-hoon was finally discharged in 2014 and resumed his music activities with SG Wannabe. In 2017, he participated as a vocal trainer on the second season of reality show Produce 101 and dropped his third EP, you & yours, reaching Number 31 in his native South Korea. In the following years, Lee Seok-Hoon went on to win the singing contest King of Mask Singer and launched his acting career on the stage musicals Kinky Boots (2018), The Man Who Laughs (2019), and Marie Antoinette (2020).
