Lee Young Ji

Lee Young-ji, born on September 10, 2002, in Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean rapper. She first gained widespread attention in 2019 by winning the third season of the survival hip-hop TV show High School Rapper after her performance on the track "Go High" (featuring Woo Won-jae, Changmo, and The Quiett) reached number 37 on the Korean Billboard charts. In 2020, she released several non-album singles, including "Walga" and "Compromise." The following year, she teamed up with Jay Park to release "Day & Night" (낮 밤), which climbed to number 27. In 2022, Lee made history as the first female winner of the popular South Korean rap competition Show Me The Money, donating a significant portion of her winnings to charity. On June 21, 2024, Lee Young-ji released her debut extended play, 16 Fantasy. The album's title track, "Small Girl," featuring EXO member DO, quickly became a chart-topping hit in South Korea with the music video amassing over 10 million views on streaming platforms within days of its release, and the album itself reached number 7 on the Korean charts.
