Born in Paris in 1968, Lisa Angell was discovered by host, impersonator and singer Patrick Sébastien. Real name Lisa Vetrano, she has a powerful voice, with a repertoire ranging from chanson to variété. Her first song, "J'ai besoin de parler" ("I need to talk"), received rave reviews from the audience of Les Années bonheur. Lisa Angell accompanies Patrick Sébastien on Vivement dimanche when he announces his return to imitation. The album Les Divines is released in October 2011, at the same time as the second single "Maman le sait". In 2014, her third album Frou-Frou paid tribute to the golden age of French music-hall. The following year, she defended France's colors at the Eurovision Song Contest with "N'oubliez pas", taken from her fourth album.
