Lisandro Cuxi, whose full name is Lisandro Monteiro Furt, is a Franco-Portuguese singer-songwriter and dancer, born on July 17, 1999 in Torres Vedras, Portugal. Born to Cape Verdean parents, he moved to Cannes, France, at the age of 9, where he learned French through music. Fascinated by singing and dancing from an early age, Lisandro took part in the second season of The Voice Kids in France in 2015, where he finished runner-up. Two years later, in 2017, he won the sixth season of The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix, under the guidance of his coach M. Pokora. Following this victory, he released his first single Danser in June 2017, which reached number 18ᵉ in the French charts. His debut album, Ma Bonne Étoile, was released in September 2017 and ranked 16ᵉ in sales in France. In 2018, he took part in Destination Eurovision with the song Eva, where he finished in second place. After a period of reflection, he returned in 2022 with the single Karma, a prelude to the BTLV (Bâtard Lover) EP released in 2023, marked by R&B and Afro influences. In 2024, he unveils Tolo (Faut m'oublier), continuing his musical exploration. Pending the release of his next album, in December 2024 he launched the "Cuxi Stories" concept, offering new compositions every week on a theme chosen by his fans.
