Real name Basile Tayron Aristot Kwidano, Tayron Kwidan's is a Swiss artist of Congolese origin, born in Monthey in 1995. He grew up in the canton of Vaud in a family with a passion for music and dance. His parents, singers in a church choir, gave him a taste for the stage at an early age. He began by dancing hip-hop and ndombolo, before joining various artistic collectives, such as Classinova, then FBI Musica and Loket's Vibration, with whom he performed extensively in Switzerland. It was in 2015 that he began his musical career in earnest with the release of "Tshokolobo", the first single from his Tshokoloboland EP. Tayron develops a hybrid style blending Afro-pop, RnB, coupé-décalé and urban pop, enriched by a melodic sensibility influenced by his life experiences and African roots. Since his debut on platforms in 2017, he has multiplied projects, self-produced several albums, and collaborated with artists such as Kingzer, KokeïneJTD, Bramsito, and Joé Dwèt Filé. In 2023, his tracks "Dantsido" and "Tentation " exploded on TikTok, reinforcing his reputation with a young audience. In 2024, he continued his ascent with the release of the single "Keisha" (prod. SamHeaven) and a concert at La Cigale in Paris in May, followed by a sold-out Olympia at the end of the year.
