The Austrian entertainer and pop singer Lorenz Büffel was born Stefan Scheichel-Gierten on May 29, 1979 in Krems an der Donau. His career began in the early 2000s under his real name Stefan Scheichel as a radio presenter and entertainer in a vacation club in Senegal. Back in Germany, he initially focused on his career as a comedian and took to the stage of the Mega-Park Mallorca for the first time, where he also began performing as a singer. He celebrates his big breakthrough with the single "Johnny Däpp" in 2016, for which Lorenz Büffel is awarded platinum; the song is one of the best-selling German-language hits. With further hits such as "Wir sind wieder da" by Lorenz Büffel & Ikke Hüftgold (2018), "Der heiße Micha" by Lorenz Büffel & HONK! (2020) or "Ein Lied für diese Welt" by Lorenz Büffel & Anna-Maria Zimmermann (2021), Scheichel-Gierten no longer managed any chart entries, but continued to perform in Mallorca and other European countries.
