Markus Becker

German pop singer Markus Becker was born on March 17, 1971 in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Annweiler am Trifels. He is a trained physiotherapist and retail salesman and began performing pop music in 1993. The artist's trademark is his red cowboy hat, which he has always worn at his performances since 2007. Markus Becker began singing professionally in 2001 and has been giving pop music concerts in the Mega-Park beer garden on the island of Majorca and on Goldstrand on the Bulgarian coast of the Black Sea since 2003. The debut single "Das rote Pferd" with the Mallorca Cowboys was released in 2007 and reached 4th place in the charts in Germany, 11th place in Austria and 35th place in Switzerland. in 2008, the singer released his debut album Das rote Pferd (Das Party-Album) and the hit single "Hörst du die Regenwürmer husten?", which reached 23rd place in the German singles charts. In the same year, he was a guest on the chart show The Dome together with musicians such as OneRepublic, Fettes Brot and Christina Stürmer. markus Becker received the Ballermann Award in 2011 and 2015. After further single and album releases, the album King of Kidsclub was released in 2017 and reached number 64 in the German charts. The album Kings of Kidsclub (Vol. 2) was released in summer 2018 and reached 88th place in the German album charts. the single "Ale Ale Aleksandra" was released in 2020.
