Querbeat

Querbeat is a 13-piece brass pop band from Germany. The band was founded in 2001 and first became known as a good-mood combo in the Cologne carnival. Since 2007, Querbeat has been an integral part of Rhineland carnival events. In 2010, the debut single "Colonia Tropical" was released. In the following years, further carnival songs followed with " Allez Olé Alaaf" (2011), "Stonn Op Un Danz" (2012), "Hück Oder Nie" (2013) and "Nie Mehr Fastelovend" (2014, number 91 in Germany). in 2014, Querbeat released their debut album Cuba Colonia, a record with cover versions of well-known carnival songs in Latin style. the second longplayer, Fettes Q , followed in 2016, the first album with original compositions. The album climbed to number 42 in the German charts. Querbeat has since emancipated itself from carnival and tours German and European halls not only during the carnival season. The growing success is also documented by the album Randale & Hurra, which reached number 7 in the German charts in 2018 and entered the German top 10 for the first time. the next Querbeat album, Radikal Positiv, is released in 2021. The album even makes it to number 2 in the German charts.
