Lucio Bukowski

Lucio Bukowski is the pseudonym chosen by Ludovic Villard, an artist from Lyon, in direct reference to one of his favorite writers, Charles Bukowski. Fondly citing literary references such as Bakounine, Orwell and Kropotkine, he chooses rap as a means of expressing his anarchist ideas, writing his lyrics in a poetic vein inspired by Dylan Thomas, Bukowski of course, but also Dostoyevsky and Louis Calaferte. His discography includes numerous EPs since 2010, sometimes recorded under the names Haymaker, Ludo & Louise Kabuki. He has also released six albums. A prolific artist, he has released three albums in the space of two, with Kiai Sous la Pluie Noire, released in 2015, then, the following year, Atman (published under the name Louise Kabuki), Oderunt Poetas, conceived in collaboration with Oster Lapwass, the faithful craftsman of his soundscapes, and Hourvari, on which Lucio Bukowski calls on another of his faithful collaborators, rapper and producer Milka.
