Marie-Ève Laure

Born in Lévis (Canada), Marie-Ève Laure, whose real name is Marie-Ève Lapierre, is a Quebec folk singer. She participated in the Quebec reality show La Voix in 2016 and made it to the quarter-finals. She performed Daniel Lavoie's song " J'ai quitté mon île ". In 2018, she reached the semi-finals of the ma première Place des Arts competition. The following year, she won the Coup de cœur du public and Stingray musique awards in the Chante en français competition. Her debut album, Onze , is released in August 2019. In 2021, she collaborates on the show Georges À Travers le Hublot with six other singers from the Magdalen Islands, to pay tribute to songwriter and poet Georges Langford. That same year, she won the Songwriter of the Year award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. In March 2022, she appeared on The Voice: la Plus Belle Voix , performing Diane Dufresne's song " Oxygène ". In autumn 2022, Marie-Ève Laure releases her second opus, Reviens.
