Marvvila

Marvvila, born Kassia Freire Marvila on May 14, 1999, is a Brazilian pagode singer from the neighborhood of Bento Ribeiro in Rio de Janeiro. She began singing at the age of five in her church, starting with gospel music before transitioning to pagode, a genre she fell in love with through her friends. Her first major exposure came in 2016 as a contestant on The Voice Brasil, where she started on Claudia Leitte's team before being “stolen” by Lulu Santos. Although she didn't win, the experience marked a turning point in her career. In 2020, Marvvila’s career gained momentum when she collaborated with Ludmilla on the track "Não é por maldade" from the EP Numanice, and signed with Warner Music Brasil, releasing her debut single "Dizendo por Dizer." In 2021, she performed at the Multishow Brazilian Music Awards and, in 2022, took the stage at Rock in Rio's Espaço Favela, releasing her live DVD Marvvila na Área. In 2023, she joined Big Brother Brasil 23, further raising her profile. That same year, she released her debut EP Minha VVez and the live LPs Só VVamo Vol. 1 & 2, solidifying her place in the Brazilian music scene.
