Masato Oomi

Masato Aomi, born in 1996, has quickly garnered attention from discerning listeners with his emotive sound that blends mellow, jazzy moods with the delicate and languid vocals reminiscent of indie R&B from abroad. Since his career outset, he made a rapid ascent, appearing at the Fuji Rock Festival within just a year, where his tracks such as "Yuunagi, Bojou" and "Nigemizu Odoru" became smash hits. Aomi’s collaborations with various artists and musicians like So Kanno (for BREIMEN), Isaku Ishiwaka, and Souki Uragami have broadened his repertoire to include pop, black music, city pop, and folk, further elevating his profile in the music industry. After nearly two years in production, he has now released his ambitious third EP, Utsutsu no Arika (2023) aiming to reach new heights in his career. He released "Bika" in 2024.
