A singer and performer, Mathilde Fernandez is a French artist born on June 5, 1995 in Nice and based in Brussels. She studied at the Beaux-Arts in Nice, where she worked with images, photos and videos. In her youth, she taught herself to play the piano and listened to a lot of progressive rock with her parents. She moved to Brussels to take the plunge into music, and trained in computer-aided design. In 2015, she released her first EP Live à Las Vegas containing 4 tracks. It was while watching tutorials on Youtube that she began working on her voice, described as baroque, a very distinctive deep voice. Singer Christophe spotted her and accompanied her on the next stage of her career, rapidly attracting media attention. She is often compared to Nina Hagen, Mylène Farmer, David Bowie or Marilyn Manson, and her universe is described as hyper-pop, cold-wave and gothic. A total artist and performer, her work on images is an integral part of her outgoing show. Mathilde Fernandez has released a string of Ep, Hyperstition in 2019. The single "Chanteuse de guerre " was released the same year, heralding the release of the album Final Vegas in 2020. The album Sensible will be released the following year.
