Mero

Enes Meral was born on July 27, 2000 in Rüsselsheim am Main. The German rapper with Turkish roots became known under the stage name Mero in 2017 when he published his first rap videos on Instagram. His growing popularity on social media brought Mero to the attention of German rapper Xatar, who signed the young rapper to Groove Attack, opening the doors to a professional career for him. in 2018, Meral released his debut single "Baller los", which became a real surprise hit and reached number 1 in the German and Austrian charts. The two follow-up singles "Hobby Hobby" and "Wolke 10", which also appear on Mero's debut album Ya Hero Ya Mero , also make it to the top of the charts in both countries in 2019. He quickly establishes himself as one of the most important up-and-coming talents on the German rap scene, with his debut album also topping the charts. in 2020, Mero released another album after Unikat (No. 4, 2019) with Seele (No. 14), which also featured collaborations with singer ELIF ("Bitte geh") and rapper Nimo ("Désolé"). Together with Ayliva, he achieves another number 1 hit in Germany and Austria with "Sie weiß". It reaches number 3 in Switzerland, after which things become a little quieter for Mero. The rapper returns in October 2024 with his fourth studio album, Renaissance. The album reaches number 7 in the German charts.
