Linda Karlsson, also known by her stage name Miss Li, is a Swedish singer-songwriter who has collaborated with Rihanna, released multiple solo albums, and contributed songs to TV shows such as Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Born in Borlänge on July 21, 1982, she released her debut album, Late Night Heartbroken Blues, in 2006. Two additional albums, God Put a Rainbow in the Sky and Songs of a Rag Doll, both followed 2007. Miss Li's big break came in 2009, when a track from her fourth album, Dancing the Whole Way Home, was used in an Apple commercial to advertise the iPod Nano. The exposure gained by the song "Bourgeois Shangri-La" attracted the aforementioned TV usage and enabled her to tour outside of Sweden. Miss Li's music continued to enjoy its warmest reception in her homeland, though, where her seventh album, Wolves, peaked at Number 2 in 2013. Six years later, she scored a Number 1 hit with 2019's "Lev nu dö sen," a song that appeared in the Swedish reality TV show Så Mycket Bättre. Another single, "Komplicerad," rocketed to Number 2 in 2020, followed by the Top 40 hits "Förlåt," "Instruktionsboken," "Utan Dig," and "Tidsmaskin" in 2021.
