Miriam Bryant

The pop singer Miriam Bryant was born in Sweden on March 8, 1991, and brought up in the city of Gothenburg as the daughter of an English father and a Finnish mother. In 2011, she began collaborating with the Swedish producer Victor Rådström and wrote a series of songs with him, the most notable being “Finders Keepers,” which went viral after she uploaded it on various social media platforms. The interest generated by the single led to a deal being signed with Warner Music. In 2016, Bryant released “Black Car” as the lead single from her forthcoming EP Bye Bye Blue. The single was an immediate hit, eventually rising to Number 2 on the Swedish charts, and has been the singer's most successful single to date. It went on to be voted Song of the Year in the Swedish music media and the following year her growing popularity secured a nomination for Best Live Act at the Swedish Grammy Awards. Bryant's fanbase extends beyond her native Sweden and she is popular throughout Europe and the UK and also in America. Released in 2019, the EP Mi Amor featured the Top 5 single "Blåmärkshårt (Mi Amor)” with Cherrie, Molly Sandén, and Stor, and was followed by Miriam Bryant’s second album PS jag hatar dig in 2021. Her sophomore effort included the chart-topping single “Tystnar i luren” featuring Victor Leksell and “Lonely in a Crowd,” a duet with Joakim Berg that reached Number 16 on the Swedish charts.
