Mon Doux Saigneur

Mon Doux Saigneur, aka Émerik St-Cyr Labbé, is a Quebec rock singer from St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Canada). Before crafting his debut album, he surrounded himself with various musician friends, to perform live, including guitarists David Marchand, Éliott Durocher-Bundock, bassist Cédric Martel and drummer Mandela Coupal-Dalgleis. In 2015, he released his first EP in a folk style. In 2016, he entered the Francouvertes competition. In 2017, he launched his self-titled opus with the single " Primitif ", which toured Quebec rock stations. It wins Indie Rock Album of the Year at the 2018 Quebec Alternative Independent Music Gala. Mon Doux Saigneur releases its second album in 2020, Horizon. Three songs are played on Quebec radio: " Aller ", " Horizon " and " Tempérance ". The album is nominated for Alternative Album of the Year at the ADISQ gala, and the single " Tempérance " is nominated for the Prix de la chanson SOCAN 2022. In 2021, he tours several Quebec cities. May 2022 saw the release of his third album, Fleur de l'Âge .
