Mo-Torres

Mo-Torres, born Moritz Helf on July 13, 1989 in Cologne, is a rapper from Germany. He is a kind of musical figurehead for his home city. The artist repeatedly refers to the city on the Rhine in his songs. After Mo-Torres released several mixtapes, EPs and even his debut album Ambivalenz (2012) on his own between 2010 and 2012, he came to the attention of a wider public with his second album Irgendwo Dazwischen at the latest. As a result, Mo-Torres had the pleasure of recording the song "Liebe deine Stadt" (Love your city) with football world champion and local hero Lukas Podolski and Cologne rock icons Cat Ballou in 2016. The rapper reached number 26 in the German charts. Two more EPs follow in the same year, Jung us'm Veedel and Köln EP. His third studio album 4 Wände is released in 2018, helping the rapper reach number 36 in the German album charts. Rochuspark (2019) is followed by the long-player Strahlemann in 2021. With this album, Mo-Torres made it into the top 5 in Germany. His next studio album Heute war alles besser also reached number 5 in the German charts.
