Berlin rapper Marco Tscheschlok, known to the public as Takt32, began producing his own beats at the age of 12. As a teenager, he spent two long periods abroad, which shaped his relationship with hip hop. in 2005, he moved to France for two years and came into contact with the local graffiti scene. Later, during his studies (2009-2013) in St. Louis, Missouri, he immersed himself in the battle scene there. Back in Germany, he caused a stir at the internet battle rap event Rap am Mittwoch and built up a loyal fan base. After his debut EP #Overkill (2014), he released his first album Gang in 2015, which immediately entered the German charts. In addition to the album ID (2016), two further EPs and a mixtape were released in the following years. Thanks to the collaboration "Sorry Not Sorry" (2020), with Monet192 and Badmómzjay, he managed to reach number 21 in the charts in Germany. The single was also in the top lists in Austria and Switzerland. his third studio album Demut und Größenwahn followed in 2021, which, like all previous releases, appeared on his own label Kiezkunst. The LP reached number 49 in the German album charts. The single "Irgendwie egal" (feat. Jumpa and Badmómzjay) and the feature on Jumpa's song "Egal wie hoch" (together with Samra) were also commercially successful in 2021.
