Narsha

Narsha, born Park Hyo-jin on December 28, 1981, is a South Korean singer and actress, best known as a member of the popular girl group Brown Eyed Girls. The name "Narsha," which means "to fly up" in Middle Korean, was given to her by a former manager. Narsha's journey to fame began when JeA, a friend from high school, suggested she join Brown Eyed Girls. The group initially held small concerts and considered several names before officially debuting in 2006 with the album Your Story. The group's first single, "Come Closer", marked the beginning of their rise in the Korean music industry. In 2010, Narsha made her solo debut with the digital single "I'm In Love", followed by her first solo album NARSHA, which featured the hit title track "Bbi Ri Bba Bba." The song charted on Gaon's Top 100 digital sales for that year, further cementing her status as a successful solo artist. She collaborated with the group Sunny Hill for the song "Mamma Mia" and later formed a duo with fellow Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo, releasing the single "Tonight" in 2013. Narsha has also contributed to drama soundtracks and appeared on TV shows, including Immortal Songs 2. In 2022, she renewed her contract with Steit Entertainment.
