Naza

French rapper of Congolese origin, Jean-Désiré Sosso Dzabatou alias Naza was born in Amiens, Somme, on May 26, 1993. He grew up in Creil, in the Oise region, listening to Congolese rumba as much as rap. His meeting with Keblack, of the same origin as himself, led to a collaboration of several tracks in 2015, before Naza was signed to the same Bomayé Musik label, owned by Youssoupha. After the release of a debut EP called Tout Pour la Street in 2016 and several other tracks, it was a new collaboration with Keblack on "Bazardée " (No. 7) and his own track "MMM (Mouiller le maillot et mailler)" (No. 59), which brought him to the attention of a wider audience. Released the same year, his debut album Incroyable (2017) reached No. 11 and was certified gold. In return, Naza invited Keblack on "On t'a dit" (No. 45) and recorded his second album, C'est la Loi (2018), which reached No. 7 and included duets with Alonzo, Fally Ipupa and Ninho. However, it was the track "P*tain de m*rde" (No. 27), spotted by footballer Presnel Kimpembe during the French team's victorious World Cup and widely shared on social networks, that brought the rapper to the attention of the general public, before a first appearance at the Olympia in Paris in October 2018. March 2019 saw the release of Bénèf (#28), a third album featuring his reunion with Youssoupha, Keblack, Fally Ipupa and Ninho, as well as the track "Loin de moi", ranked #5. Collaborations continued with Dadju, Aya Nakamura, Eva, Black M, Gradur, Kalash Criminel, Bramsito and Marwa Loud, culminating in the 2020 release of Gros Bébé (No. 3), featuring the hit track "Jolie bébé " (No. 2), sung as a duet with Niska. After being joined by Keblack and Naps on the track "Ma Play" (#130) in 2021, Naza releases the mixtape Big Daddy - Mixtape Vol. 1 in 2022, which reaches number 9 in the French charts and features contributions from Soolking, Fally Ipupa, Hornet La Frappe, Koba LaD and Da Uzi, among others. Naza continued in 2024 with a fifth opus, Nazaland (No. 7 in France), featuring six duets: "une Histoire" with Tiakola, "Bobo" with Maes, "Tu es à moi" with Tayc, "Quillé" with Ninho, "Piano" with KeBlack and "En panne " with Jul.
