Nico Santos

Nico Santos (born January 7, 1993 in Bremen) is a German singer and songwriter. Born Nico Wellenbrink, the artist grew up in a musical family. From 2012, he tried to advance his music career with the help of other artists. Nico Santos initially took his first musical steps as a guest musician. In 2015, the single "Holding On" was released together with Mr. Da-Nos, with which Nico Santos made it to number 42 in the Swiss charts. It was not until 2017 that Nico Santos also made his breakthrough as a solo artist with the single "Rooftop". The song climbed to number 5 in the German charts and even reached number 2 in Austria. 2018 saw Nico Santos release his first album, Streets Of Gold. The self-titled album Nico Santos reaches number 3 in Germany in 2020. Some other well-known songs by Nico Santos are "Safe", "Better" and "Empty Hands". Nico Santos celebrates even more success as a writer and producer for other well-known artists. For example, Nico Santos wrote the song "Achterbahn" for Helene Fischer, "Das Original" for Prinz Pi and Mark Foster, "Die Schönsten Tage" for Adel Tawil, "Entschuldigung Für Nichts" for Roland Kaiser, "Papa" for Bushido and "Warum Du" for Sarah Connor. After the EPs Summer and Autumn in 2021, Nico Santos releases his third studio album, Ride, in 2023. In Germany, the album climbs to number 2. In fall 2024, he releases the single "Geschlossene Augen" again as Santos together with Sido.
