OCTPATH

OCTPATH is a Japanese 8-member male dance vocal group consisting of Kose Naoki, Takahashi Wataru, Kurita Kohei, Kaiho, Kobori Shu, Yotsuya Shinsuke, Toma and Ota Shunsei, former trainees who appeared on Japanese audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SEASON 2. On November 18, 2021 all OCTPATH members were announced during the group's first live streaming program which was broadcast on Japanese video app GYAO! 10 days later. On February 9, 2022, the group made their major debut with the single "IT'S A BOP", later encountering setbacks with group members Fuyuma and Takahashi Wataru announcing their temporary hiatus due to health reasons. On June 15, the group released their second single, "Perfect" and the following month, held fan meetings in three cities across Japan (Aichi, Osaka, and Kanagawa) followed by their first live concert on September 23. In November, the group's third single "Like" appeared, prior to the release of debut studio album, Showcase on February 8, 2023 at the commencement of their inaugural nationwide tour.
