Since 2000, the English duo Oi Va Voi have been embellishing their electro with contributions from Sephardic and Ashkenazi traditions. While Ashkenazi rhythms, particularly klezmer music, are in vogue, Judeo-Spanish or Ladino music is less well known. Oi Va Voi debuted with Digital Folklore in 2002, before releasing the magnificent Laughter Through Tears in 2003. With 2007's Oi Va Voi and 2009's Travelling the Face of the Globe, Oi Va Voi continue their musical journey, harmoniously blending different eras and sounds.
