Oordaya

Having grown up between Jordan and Botswana, Franco-Algerian Oordaya finds her inspiration in the hip-hop and R'n'B of the 2000s. A bit of Jhené Aiko, a touch of Jorja Smith, and some modern trap. In 2018, Oordaya recorded and produced her debut EP Mind Me independently, in the minimalist conditions of her bedroom, using her phone! This Trap-Soul-sounding EP meets with real success, particularly on UK airwaves, where she gets noticed thanks to the single"I Envisioned Something Else". In 2019, taking advantage of this success, she flew to London, where she began recording her second EP, Three, released on June 12. Selected from among 34 promising artists at the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges 2020, Oordaya represents the Occitanie region in the Urban Pop category. She will take part in the "Printemps Inouïs" from September 16 to 18, 2020 in Bourges. In 2023, she will release her album ALNAÏR, featuring Khali, a rising star on the French rap scene.
