Petter Alexis Askergren is a Swedish rapper and record company owner. A musician who made his name in hip-hop and urban music, Petter is also a fully qualified sommelier who organises the wine list at the prestigious Granen restaurant in Åre. As a musician, Petter released his first album in 1998 and had his first number one album in 1999 with 'Bananrepubliken', also the name of the record company he ran for the next two years. Moving between mental health activism, wine scholarship, athletics and hosting the TV charity show 'Musikhjälpen', Petter continued to release music throughout the 1990s and into the new millennium primarily into his home market. He also worked with other local artists on a number of collaborative rap and hip-hop releases. In 2019 he appeared on the 10th anniversary edition of the Swedish TV reality music show, 'Så Mycket Bättre' in which artists cover each other's songs where he covered Magnus Uggla's 'King for a Day', Orup's 'Stockholm', Petra Marklund's 'The Truth', which he performed with Linnea Henriksson, and which was released as a single and as part of the album celebrating the show.
