Philippe Léotard

Philippe Léotard was the enfant terrible of a large family that includes other public figures. A consummate artist, he wielded words in several languages and loved to provoke, sometimes indignantly, and often invoke the tenderness and passion of men. A man of proven excess and a workaholic, Philippe Léotard's main career was in film and theater. His career as a poet, songwriter and performer has been more discreet, but rewarded by numerous awards, from A l'amour comme à la guerre, released in 1990, to his fourth and final album Demi-mots amers (1999).
