PRIMROSE

PRIMROSE is a South Korean girl group managed by talent agency A.O Entertainment. The group's career kicked off in November 2022, when A.O Entertainment announced the name of their new project PRIMROSE and launched their social media accounts. In January 2023, it was announced that the group would debut with their mini album Red Moon, released ten days later. After establishing themselves with this release, the group garnered a very active fanbase. In March 2023, one of the members, Yeum, departed from the group due to personal circumstances and health issues, leaving PRIMROSE to continue as a solo act with Ruby until new members were introduced. In May, former HOT ISSUE member Nahyun joined the group, followed by former BugAboo member Rainie. The lineup was finalized in June, with the addition of Hayun. With a complete and revamped lineup, PRIMROSE announced their official comeback with the release of their second mini album, Laffy Taffy, in August of 2023. This release found the group experimenting with tropical house sounds in addition to their usual dance style. In May 2024, the group released a promotional calendar for their first single album "Revival," which was subsequently released on June 17 and peaked at number 38 on the Korean charts.
