Having slowly emerged from the rap effervescence of the 1990s, Psy4 de la Rime established themselves from 2002 onwards as one of the most solid and sensitive groups in French hip-hop. The Marseilles-based collective paved the way for the success of rappers Soprano, Alonzo and Vicenzo. From Block Party in 2002 to Quatrième Dimension in 2013, their four albums and several strong tracks show that rap knows how to distance itself from the brutality it is too often accused of, while retaining its protest rage. His DJ and producer, Sya Styles, died prematurely on October 26, 2015 at the age of 37.
