Queensberry is a German pop girl group that was founded in 2008 as part of the seventh season of the casting show Popstars - Just 4 Girls. The original line-up consisted of Leonore Bartsch (born September 14, 1988 in Göttingen), Gabriella De Almeida Rinne (born February 26, 1989 in Rio de Janeiro), Victoria Ulbrich (born January 2, 1992 in Bergheim) and Antonella Trapani (born November 8, 1991 in Weil am Rhein). Musically, the band moves in the pop genre. Their debut album Volume I was released in December 2008 and reached number 6 in the German album charts. The single "No Smoke" reaches number 23 in the German singles charts. The second album On My Own follows in November 2009, reaching number 26 in the German charts. The single "Hello (Turn Your Radio On)" enters the German charts at number 4, making it the band's biggest single success. In the summer of 2010, Victoria Ulbrich and Antonella Trapani leave the band and are replaced by Selina Herrero (* May 28, 1993 in Mainz) and Ronja Hilbig (* July 25, 1989 in Hamburg). the third album Chapter 3 is released in 2012, but it fails to build on the previous successes. In the same year, Leonore Bartsch leaves the band, and Queensberry finally breaks up in 2013. During their active period, the band received several awards, including the VIVA Comet as "Best Breakthrough Artist" in 2009. They also opened for international artists such as the Pussycat Dolls and Lady Gaga.
