Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo (December 7, 2001), known mononymously as Quevedo, is a Spanish urban artist who performs in the reggaeton and trap genres. Born in Madrid, he spent part of his childhood in South America and returned to Spain a few years later, settling down in the Canary Islands. After becoming involved in the city's freestyle rap scene, he made his official debut in 2020 with the single "Planteamiento Erróneo," recorded with producer Linton. He followed up later that year with "No Me Digas Nada," which reached Number 13 on the Spanish charts and received gold certification by PROMUSICAE. Over the next few years, Quevedo continued his meteoric ascent to the top with the Top 10 singles "Piel de Cordero" (2021) with La Pantera, "Ahora y Siempre" (2021) with Linton, and a chart-topping remix of "Cayó la Noche" (2022) featuring La Pantera, Juseph, Bejo, Cruz Cafuné, Abhir Hathi, and El Ima. In 2022, Quevedo experienced a surge in popularity after guesting on Bizarrap's electro-rap crossover hit "Quevedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52," leading to features on tracks by Duki, De La Ghetto, and Ed Sheeran. The hit parade continued later that year with the Number 1 singles "Playa del Inglés" featuring Myke Towers and "Apa" with Mora. Preceded by the platinum-selling Top 5 entry "Y Ahora Qué," his studio debut Donde Quiero Estar saw the light in 2023 and shot straight to the top of the Spanish Albums Chart.
