Ramón Vega

Ramón Vega, also sometimes known as Ramoncito Vega, is a Mexican singer and songwriter. He was born on September 12, 2005, in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora. Originating from a lineage known for its contributions to the norteño music genre, Ramón Vega started his musical journey at the age of 5 by learning to play the accordion and guitar. By age 7, he began creating covers, and at 14, during the onset of the pandemic, he made his official debut with the single "Perfecta," recorded in collaboration with Tax Millie. "Contigo Mami," a reggae-tinged Spanish version of Roy Orbison's "Oh Pretty Woman," followed in 2021, as well as his first EP 2000 Siempre, and the studio album La Nueva R. These works highlighted his Mexican regional roots and showcased a blend of urban, trap, reggae, and R&B sounds. He started gathering success and momentum online, leading to a sizable following on social media. In 2021, Ramón Vega's interaction on social media led him to the song "dEsANiMaO :(" by Venezuelan songwriter Eudis Ruíz. This inspired him to produce his debut full-length album PA’ TI, a smooth blend of electro-pop, R&B, reguetón, dancehall, trap, funk, and Regional Mexican sounds. In the album, Ramón Vega recorded his own version of "dEsANiMaO :(" in collaboration with Christian Nodal. The album also features collaborations with Michelle Maciel on “eScoRpiÓn :)” and both David Moreno and Luis Mint on “carita dE SaNTa :).”
