Raquel Rodríguez

Raquel Rodríguez is an LA-born singer-songwriter known for her dynamic blend of soul, R&B, and funk, infused with a modern twist. With a powerful voice that channels the golden era of classic soul, she has earned a reputation for her electrifying live performances and rich, velvety vocal tone. Raised in Los Angeles, her music draws from a diverse array of influences, including legends like Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder, as well as contemporary artists such as Anderson .Paak and Hiatus Kaiyote. Her breakthrough came with her critically acclaimed 2016 EP The 310, a project that showcased her unique fusion of retro soul and modern grooves and yielded a popular single in "Mile High." She worked with several producers for her 2021 debut full-length Sweet Side, including Matt Johnson (Jamiroquai), Amber Navran (Moonchild), Steve Swatkins (Allen Stone), and Nigel Hall (Lettuce). She has since amassed a string of further solo singles, including "Let Me Remind You" in 2023 and was featured on Moby's 2024 single "feelings come undone." 2024 also saw the release of several of her own singles, including "Housewife."
