Pop vocalist Reneé Rapp established herself as a Broadway star and TV actress before launching her solo career with 2022's Everything to Everyone. She was born on January 10, 2000, in Huntersville, North Carolina. A talented performer during her teenage years, she won a National High School Musical Theatre Award — commonly known as a Jimmy Award — in 2018, taking home the honor of "Best Performance by an Actress" for her role in a high school performance of Big Fish. She made her Broadway debut one year later, taking over the role of villain Regina George in the stage production of Mean Girls. The show closed down in March 2020, a victim of the Covid-19 pandemic that shuttered all Broadway productions. By October of that show, however, she'd landed a lead role in the TV show The Sex Lives of College Girls, ultimately remaining with the show for multiple seasons. Rapp was also cast in a film version of Mean Girls: The Musical, which began pre-production in 2022. That same year, she kickstarted her career as a solo pop vocalist with Everything to Everyone, an EP released by Interscope. Featuring a mix of R&B ballads and pop anthems, Everything to Everyone reached number 47 on the Top Albums Sales chart in America. A full-length debut album, Snow Angel, followed in 2023, hitting number 47 on the Billboard 200, number 7 on the UK Albums chart, and number 3 on the Scottish Albums chart.
