Rhona Macfarlane

Originally from Montrose, Rhona Macfarlane is a Scottish folk singer-songwriter. Trained in classical music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she taught herself guitar and produced her first compositions before publishing them on her social networks. Her first self-produced single, "Golden Leaves", was released in 2016, followed by "Brother" in 2017, with its rich, polished arrangements. While the Covid-19 pandemic kept Rhona Macfarlane away from the stage, the singer returned in 2021 with the tracks "Better When You're Around" and "No Rain", included on the Closing the Window EP. In 2024, she worked with producer Matt Ingram at Watercolour Studios on the songs for the EP See You Grow and the album As the Chaos Unfolds, released in 2025.
