A founding member of the group Assassin in the 1980s-1990s, Rockin' Squat broke new ground in 2002 with his Illegal Mixtapes. Two years later, via his Livin' Astro structure, the political rapper caused a controversy with "France à fric" from the album Too Hot For TV. This was followed by three volumes of Confessions d'Un Enfant du Siècle between 2008 and 2010, with prestigious featurings (Oxmo Puccino, Check Tidiane Seck, KRS-One, Seu Jorge, etc.). Rockin' Squat stays virulent in 2012 with Illégal Mixtape 3. Rockin' Squat and Cheick Tidiane Seck create a sensation in 2013 with Assasin Live Band.
