Rolf Zuckowski is a German children's performer born in Hamburg in 1947. He began making music at the age of 18, playing guitar and singing in the band The BeAthovens with classmates from school. In 1967 he released his first album 'Happy to Be Happy', but it was after his graduation in the 1970s that his career got going in earnest. He went to work at Hans Sikorski and began writing songs for artists such as the Swiss act Peter, Sue & Marc. Zuckowski released his first children's album, 'Rolfs Vogelhochzeit' in 1979. It soon led to radio play and appearances on TV and a win on the series 'ZDF-Hitparade' with '... Und Ganz Doll Mich'. Since then, Zuckowski has become a mainstay of German children's entertainment. He has released 45 studio albums, along with numerous singles, Christmas albums, compilations and live albums.
